We are open 24-hours/day/everyday.
The earliest check-in time is 3pm. If you show up before that, it’s cool. We can store your bag free of charge, so you can walk around and enjoy the city until your room is ready. If you need suggestions for where to walk around, we can help with that too. Our frontdesk is staffed 24-hours/day, so you will also be able to check-in at all hours of the night.
All guests must check-out of their room by 11am. Yes, we would be happy to happy to store your bags so you can continue to enjoy Chicago unencumbered by the weight of all your personal belongings. You just have to vacate your room no later than 11am. Please!
All ages are welcome at Urban Holiday Lofts (with a few restrictions). Anyone under 18-years old, must be accommodated by someone 18-years old or older. If you are booking a bed in one of our dorms, you must be at least 18-years old. No one under 18-years old is allowed in a dorm.
Urban Holiday Lofts does not have parking, but you will be able to park on one of the streets that surround our building for free, for unlimited period of time, without a permit. Please email us at info@urbanholidaylofts.com for a map of exactly where these streets are.
If you need to modify your reservation, please send an email to reservations@urbanholidaylofts.com and someone will respond with 24-hours. If you need to cancel your entire reservation, who you need to contact depends on how you booked. If you made a reservation directly with us, please send an email to reservations@urbanholidaylofts.com. If you made a reservation with an online travel agency like Booking.com, Priceline, Expedia, or Hotels.com, you will have to contact them to see about having your reservation canceled.
No. Urban Holiday Lofts provides all guests with linen, blankets and towels. And trust us, they’re all top-notch. Please do not bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, or other bedding. They will not be allowed in the room.
Guests can pay by cash or by credit card. We accept the following credit card types: American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa.
If you made a reservation through our website, you paid a 10% deposit. That deposit is not refundable so you will not get it back. However, it is transferable, so if you need to cancel a reservation, we will be happy to apply it to a future stay.
Yes, but only if you (the person that made the reservation) contact us ahead of time with the name(s) of the guests that will be arriving first.

Sure. As long as it is less than 5-pages, we will lovingly print it out for you for free. Anything over 5-pages will be $.50/page.

Yes. We can provide your luggage a secure place to be stored, for free, on the day you check-in and the day you check-out. You just have to pick it up by midnight as that’s when we start charging. So how much is it for us to store your luggage after the day you check-out or prior to the day you check-in? Glad you asked. It’s $10 per bag per day.
We have two categories of rooms: rooms with private bathrooms and rooms with shared bathrooms. Rooms with private bathrooms will indicate that in the room description. There are nine bathrooms throughout our building that are available for all shared bathroom rooms. Each bathroom is similar to a regular residential bathroom, so there is one toilet, one sink, one shower, and a door that locks behind you. The recommended occupancy for each of these bathrooms is one person.
